- Hails from South Blue. Abandoned by pirate parents in childhood, picked up by Tom on Scrap Island in Water 7 and raised as a shipwright. Learned battleship construction at Tom's Workers, but went on the run due to a false accusation 10 years ago. From near-fatal injuries, modified his body to become a cyborg. Led the demolition crew 'Franky Family', discarded his name, and trained as a pirate as 'Franky'. Met the Straw Hat Pirates in the Water 7 arc, built their dream ship 'Thousand Sunny', and joined the crew.
