History

Backstory
Real name Sephiroth. Belongs to the highest rank "1st Class" of Shinra Company's private elite soldiers "SOLDIER". Injected with cells of the Ancient Jenova discovered in strata from 2000 years ago while still a fetus, created as an "artificial Ancient". Father is Professor Hojo, mother is Lucrecia Crescent. In childhood, only knew the names of Jenova and his mother, raised without knowing these truths. In the Nibelheim Incident, learns the truth of the Jenova Project and mistakenly believes himself to be an Ancient. Driven by hatred for humanity and the planet into madness, but defeated by Zack and Cloud. Falls into the Lifestream but acquires vast knowledge, regenerates, and attempts to destroy the planet with "Meteor". Ultimately defeated by Cloud and legendized as "One-Winged Angel".
