Backstory
Her real father is Gast Faremis, a former Shinra Company scientist. Her mother Ifalna is the last pure-blooded Ancient. She spent her early childhood with her mother in a research facility, and after her mother passed away at age 7, she was raised by her adoptive mother. Pursued by Shinra, she sells flowers in the slums while harboring the power of the Guardian of the Stars. She meets Cloud and others and joins their journey.
