History

Backstory
Runs Snack Otose as the landlady of Kabukicho and is also the landlady of the first floor where Yorozuya Gin-chan is located. 50 years ago, she was a traditional beauty and an idol-like figure in Kabukicho, but now as a businesswoman, she exerts a strong presence as the empress supporting life in Kabukicho. After the Joi War ended, she met Gintoki during a grave visit for her late husband Tatsugorou, and feeling indebted, Gintoki began living on the second floor of her shop. She has long-standing ties with childhood friend Doromizu Jirocho, boss of the Mizurazu group, and the other Four Heavenly Kings. In the Silver Soul arc, she reunites with Jirocho after he completes his retirement journey.
