- Backstory
- Orphaned without blood relatives, spent a lonely childhood scavenging from corpses alone, until picked up by his master Yoshida Shoyo. Attended a terakoya with Katsura, Takasugi, and others, participated in the Joi War, becoming the legendary Joi rebel known as Shiroyasha. After the war, lost many comrades, made the bitter decision to behead his master, then went into hiding and opened Yorozuya. While building deep bonds with those around him, he gets involved in various incidents.
