- Born in the Edo period as a young martial artist named Hakuji. Stole to earn money for medicine for his father's illness, which drove his father to suicide. Due to his intense joy, anger, sorrow, and pleasure, lost his martial arts master and lover Koyuki, flew into a rage, single-handedly attacked a swordsmanship dojo and killed many, leading to him being turned into a demon by Muzan. As a result, he has lost most memories of his human era but retains his obsession with strength and continues living for martial arts.
