Using his great-grandfather's scheme, when Lum's horn was pulled out, he kidnapped Lum to the Dark World to hold a wedding ceremony, but it failed due to interference from Ataru and Karura. In the Dark World, Lupa and Lum had a falling out, and Karura returned to Earth with Ataru.
