History

Backstory
Born as the first foal of dam Vega at Northern Farm in Hayakoma, Hokkaido. Dam Vega was a legendary mare who achieved the filly classics double in 1993. Admire Vega struggled with a slender frame and temperamental nature but grew under the careful care of training assistants and jockey Yutaka Take. Debuted in 1998, overcame a disqualification in her maiden race, and racked up graded wins. In 1999, overcame loss of appetite and other issues to claim a classic title in the Tokyo Yushun (Japanese Derby), following in her dam's footsteps. Continued with graded wins afterward, but retired in 2000 due to left foreleg suspensory ligament inflammation. Excelled as a stallion at Shadai Stallion Station, but passed away suddenly in 2004. Produced many famous offspring and highly regarded as a bloodline successor.
