Dotes on his son Rotta, has a complex relationship with Rebel Alliance's Han Solo over debts. Keeps numerous slaves in his palace, enjoys torture and gambling while surviving in chaotic times, but was strangled to death by Leia Organa with a chain in Return of the Jedi.
