History

Backstory: Originally from the Italian Navy, chose ship-based combat over personal gunfights and devoted his life as a military man. After the formation of the UN Spacy, transferred to the Far East Naval Forces and became subordinate to Misa's father, Hayase Takashi. Remained single after losing his lover in an aviation accident, but in 2003 married a young Japanese wife, Miho, and returned to Earth and his wife. Watched over Hayase Misa like a daughter, eventually active as commander of Super Dimension Fortress Macross, repelled the all-out attack of the Zentraedi forces, and ended the great war. Post-war, as Supreme Commander of the New UN Government and leader of the space emigration plan, laid the foundation for peace.
