- The Player is the protagonist of Kingdom Hearts χ, Kingdom Hearts Unchained Key, and Union Cross, and one of the Keyblade Wielders belonging to one of the five Unions. At the start of the story, they are depicted as silent and as the player's avatar, but as the game progresses, they take independent actions and draw closer to the truth of the worlds. Caught up in the chaos before and after the Keyblade War, an era of war, they adventure through various Disney worlds with their Dandelion comrades, collecting Lux of light and bearing the mission to protect the worlds from darkness. The Player's fate changes based on choices, and in the finale, they confront their inner darkness "Nightmare Chirithy," playing a crucial role that sways the future of the worlds.
