- Born to father Gast Faremis, a former Shinra Company scientist, and mother Ifalna, the last pure-blooded Ancient. Shortly after birth, her father was killed by Shinra, and mother and child were confined to a research facility, but they escaped when she was 7. Her mother collapsed along the way and died after being helped, and she was raised by her adoptive mother. Possessing Ancient abilities and targeted by the massive corporation Shinra, she meets Cloud and embarks on a journey.
