History
- Backstory
- Megaguirus is a kaiju modeled after the giant dragonfly-like insect "Meganula," which existed from the Carboniferous to Triassic periods. The original "Meganulon" corresponds to a dragonfly nymph and appeared from an underground coal mine in the 1956 film "Rodan." In the 2000 film "Godzilla vs. Megaguirus," "Meganulon" eggs transferred to modern Shibuya due to a spacetime distortion and hatched, followed by the adult insects "Meganula" emerging, and then the final form "Megaguirus" created through collective energy gathering and metamorphosis. Megaguirus possesses super high-speed flight and magnetic field manipulation abilities, engaging in an epic battle with Godzilla.
